Why I admire Leslie (as written by Amanda Lynn Mayhew): I have never been so motivated to walk especially at home by a DVD previous to being introduced to Leslie Sansone. On those days that are drab outside or you just have a lot to get done, throwing her Walk at Home DVD into the player and hitting play is the best way to get walking. I love that she is right there talking and walking you through every step. I enjoy everything about her DVD collection. Very motivating and inspiring. I have loaned out this DVD over and over again, and have even presented it as gifts to new customers.
Why did you get started with this 'Walk at Home' series?
LS: This program started in my Fitness Center in 1985 - I wanted to help the "outdoor" walkers come in from the cold North East winters. I started a group class called Walk Aerobics .... it was very popular .... a class member asked if she could film the class so she could workout on her vacation .... everyone in class wanted a copy of the workout .... and I have been leading this wonderful program since 1985!
What is the most rewarding experience to this day?
LS: Everyday I get rewarded with a kind note to my office - calls - random meeting of a fan .... I am still shocked by how many people WALK OUR WAY! Our walks MOVE people! I LOVE being a PEOPLE MOVER!
Who motivates you?
LS: Sweaty people LOL .... HEALTH SEEKERS ... people - like me - that continue to seek healthy choices for a strong life!
How many DVD's are in your collection?
LS: Uh oh .... I haven't counted lately ... but remember I have been doing this a LOOOONG time .... last count .... 130 titles!
What are some of their titles?
LS: Every way you could possibly use the word "Walk".... some of the new titles that I am crazy over ... SUPER WALKS!!!! .... and The 5K with a Twist Walk! ....and one of my all time favorite .... 4 REALLY BIG Miles!
Where can we find your collection?
LS: Everywhere DVD's are sold .... but special appreciation goes to my long time support from Wal-Mart .... Target .... and all the retailers that allow our brand to be moved!
Who is most likely to benefit from this collection?
LS: ANYONE that wants to feel GREAT instantly! For anyone that can WALK .... you can walk your way to great health and your best body, mind and spirit!
What are your future goals?
LS: To KEEP "me" WALKING and inspire the world to WALK MORE ... it is the MEDICINE for life .... how sweet of you to ask!
